Is there a future for liquified natural gas?

Gas Bubble 2020, a recent report from Global Energy Monitor, casts doubt on the future of liquefied natural gas due to decreasing demand because of the COVID-19 crisis, increased competition from renewable energy sources, and growing protests against fossil fuel infrastructure projects.
